Oppenheimer, a historical epic by Christopher Nolan that traces the creation of the atomic bomb, is at the forefront of the group. It is without a doubt the front-runner with an astounding 13 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor for Cillian Murphy. With eight nominations, Martin Scorsese’s historical murder thriller Killers of the Flower Moon, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, is a formidable opponent.

Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, a live-action version of the beloved doll that has received eight nominations, adds a whimsical touch. Its satirical edge, vibrant visuals and would surely surprise the competition.
